Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The research articles will be reviewed by anonymous peer reviewers. Articles will be evaluated by at least two experts in addition to the editor.

It is important that the submitting author(s) comply with the ethics laid down by the APA in its latest publication manual. As per HEC policy, the paper will be published subject to its clearance for plagiarism.

Preparation of Manuscript: Articles written only in English language are accepted for publication. Spellings should follow Webster’s Dictionary of Oxford English Dictionary. All submissions including book reviews must have a title, be left aligned with font size 12, font type Times New Roman, and be double spaced with a margin of 3 cm all round.

Abstract: The abstract should range between 120 – 150 words for all articles except book reviews. An abstract is a concise summary of the whole paper, not just the conclusions. It should state the purpose of the study, hypothesis, method, analysis, main findings and conclusions.

Introduction: It should contain the theoretical framework, rationale of the study, review of updated and relevant researches. Objective and hypotheses should be clearly listed.

Method: This section should include the design of the study, sample description, assessment protocols, ethical considerations and the procedure of data collection.

Result: Present your results in a logical sequence in the text, tables and illustrations (Figure). Do not repeat in the text all the data in the table or figures; emphasize only important ones. Tables, figures and illustrations must be prepared according to the APA’s prescribed format. Each table must have a title, and must be numbered in sequence. Clearnotes should be made by the author(s) at the approximate point of insertion in the text.

Discussion: This section should discuss major findings; and emphasize new and important aspects of the study concluding implications from them. Repetition of the material already provided in the Introduction section and Results must be avoided.

References: Follow APA’s latest manual format (6th edition) for writing references in the text and list of references.

Authors Note: Include the names of all authors, their position in authorship, their organizational / departmental affiliations and the postal as well as email address of the corresponding author.
