Abstract

The aim of conducting the present study was to identify the relationship of organizational justice and its dimensions (distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice) with turnover intention among employees from electronic media. Additionally, it explored the relationship of gender, education and marital status with organizational justice and turnover intention. In order to measure the level of organizational justice of the employees of electronic media (N=300), the Organizational Justice Scale (Lim, 2002), comprising of three sub-scales (distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice) was used. Intention to leave the organization was measured through Turnover Intention Scale (Seashore et al, 1982). Correlational analysis showed a negative relationship of organizational justice, distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice with turnover intention among media industry employees. Demographic analysis showed significant mean differences in gender, education and marital status among organizational justice, its dimensions and turnover intention. Limitations and implications of the study are also discussed
